Through the sport of gymnastics, Aerials gymnastics promotes fitness, fun and confidence for the children in our community. We have developed our academy program to enhance athletes of all skill levels. Weather you are new to gymnastics or are already a fully committed athlete to the sport we have a program path for you. Our Academy program is a structured, skill based program, following the XCEL program that is widely used by USA Gymnastics. Athletes will develop exceptional skills in balance, strength, flexibility, coordination, independent work ethic and have the ability to accept corrections.
While academy athletes are learning new gymnastics-based skills, gymnastics is the foundation sport, allowing Athletes to adapt these new skills and apply them to all other sports at an elevated level in comparison to their peers.
For over 35 years we have operated as a non-profit gymnastics club, supporting the athletic needs of our community. Our coaches are NCCP Certified and have the experience and leadership necessary for your child’s success. Your child will exceed their own potential through athlete and leadership development training at Aerials Gymnastics Academy.

Gymnastics Development Program
The Xcel Program brings competitive gymnastics to gymnasts in a program that embraces all skill levels – beginner through advanced.
It is a personalized competitive program starting at the first entry division, allowing athletes to be placed appropriately based on their skills and gymnastics experience.
In addition, there is flexibility in choosing skills to fulfill the event requirements from the beginner division through the most advanced division. Emphasis is on execution, not difficulty, giving the gymnast the ability to perform the skills she/he does best.
Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), we focus on developing skills in:
- Vault
- Bars
- Beam
- Floor

Alberta Gymnastics Federation is the governing body for gymnastics in Alberta. |
The Alberta Gymnastics Federation values the growth and development of gymnastics and the opportunity to encourage and support the clubs, gymnasts, coaches, and judges who bring gymnastics to life. AGF works hard to strengthen the relationship between the National Gymnastics Organization and our provincial and local associations to ensure consistency and cohesiveness in gymnastics. We also strive to inspire gymnasts, coaches, and judges to meet their own potential through athlete and leadership development courses.
As a not for profit agency, the Alberta Gymnastics Federation believes in supporting the passion of these athletes to promote and strengthen gymnastics as both a recreational activity and a competitive sport in Alberta.
